Godstone has a number of regular events taking place as part of the many organisations that are active in the village.

Every August Bank Holiday, Godstone hosts the Village Fete – which according to some is the longest continuous village fete in England. This is always very well attended, and last year it was estimated that over 10,000 people attended. The fete consists of a large number of varied stalls, food stalls and many local organisations. There is the popular Donkey Derby, a dog show and other attractions.

In addition, the Godstone Village Association hosts an annual village Forum in March and an annual AGM in October. It usually runs a Christmas entertainment event during December.
